GMT customized optical waveguide testing equipment has been officially delivered—"Dual six-axis + IR testing" in one go!

Optical waveguide testing technology is a key foundation for high-speed optical communication and data centers. It is widely used in the verification of components such as optical transceiver modules, AWG array waveguides, and optical fiber communication links to support the high-speed, low-latency data transmission requirements of the AI generation.
GMT recently completed and successfully delivered a customized optical waveguide inspection system. The equipment meets ISO Class 7 cleanroom standards, features a dual six-axis precision platform and an IR beam pattern inspection module, and possesses GMT following capabilities:
• High-precision measurement capability of luminous flux and beam profile
• Nanoscale alignment efficiency significantly shortens the calibration and verification process
• Can be modularly integrated into R&D, process verification, and advanced packaging environments
This system helps customers build complete optical waveguide testing capabilities, enabling optical components to smoothly transition from the R&D process to small-scale verification and pre-production testing, thereby enhancing the overall efficiency of optical communication technology development.
GMT will continue to deepen its deployment of high-precision platforms, optical inspection modules, and intelligent alignment algorithms, working with industry partners to accelerate the advancement of next-generation silicon photonics, CPO, and high-speed optical communication technologies.
