Rotary stage table used upside down

Question:
Hello, our company wants to use GMT rotary stages - MR60-AR and MR85-AR - for inverted hanging applications with a load of 2 kg. Can GMT rotary stages be used for this purpose?

Answer:
Because the upper and lower plates of GMT 's rotary stage are connected by only a few screws, if it is used upside down...
With only a few screws and a small amount of contact surface, the load-bearing capacity can be reduced to less than 30% of the standard load.
Therefore, rotary stages are not suitable for inverted use.
